소니에서 나온 제품이 있었는데 저렴한 국산 제품이 나왔네요..성능은 어떨지 모르겠지만.. 10 시간여 간다네요..~~

여행한 경로와 찍은 사진을 지도위에 표시해주는 휴대기기가 개발돼 수입대체 효과를 톡톡히 누릴 수 있게 됐다.

큐비랩(대표 김유성 www.cuub.co.kr)은 GPS트랙커 ‘로케이션플러스 A1’을 국내에서는 처음 개발했다고 14일 밝혔다.

국산 GPS트랙커 개발로 그동안 소니·가민 등이 수입에 의존한던 제품을 대체할 수 있게 됐으며 절반 이하의 가격으로 가격경쟁력에서도 앞서갈 수 있게 됐다.

이 제품은 전원을 켜놓기만 하면 GPS 위성으로부터 위치정보를 수신해 내장된 메모리에 자동으로 저장한다. 저장된 GPS 정보는 큐비랩의 소프트웨어를 이용해 구글어스·싸이월드스튜디오·야후코리아 라이브맵 등의 전자지도위에 나타내준다.

특히 디지털카메라의 사진에 지리정보를 결합해 지도위에 사진을 찍은 장소를 표시해주며 제품에 내장된 소프트웨어를 통해 GPS 정보를 사진과 자동으로 연결해 손쉽게 사용할 수 있다. 예를 들어 로케이션플러스 A1의 GPS정보를 내장한 사진을 친구에게 보내면, 사진과 함께 구글어스 위에서 사진을 촬영한 장소를 볼 수 있다.　　

큐비랩은 온라인 오픈마켓과 홈페이지를 통해 15일부터 판매를 시작하며, 가격은 5만원 이하로 책정했다.

큐비랩 김영구 상무는 “구글어스와 싸이월드를 비롯한 다양한 지도서비스와 연계해 재미있게 활용할 수 있다”며 “내장된 소프트웨어를 이용해 누구나 쉽게 사용할 수 있어 여행이나 사진촬영을 즐겨하는 사람들이 손쉽게 즐길 수 있다”고 설명했다.
